Shore Runners Youth Running Club is a not-for-profit youth running club hosted by volunteer coaches during the months of June, July, and August. We have been in action since 2017 and have had around 60 participants since our conception.

WHO CAN RUN?

Runners ENTERING grades 3-8 in the fall are welcome to run with the club. There is no specific experience or ability required by our club. All that we ask for is a willingness to run and follow the directions of our volunteer coaches!

WHERE/WHEN ARE PRACTICES?

For the 2019 season, we will be practicing at Baldwin Middle School on Tuesday's and the Guilford High School track on Thursday's. Practices begin June 25th, 2019, and run until August 13th. Times are 5:00PM - 6:00PM both days

HOW CAN I REGISTER?

We have a post about registration pinned to the top of our Facebook page, but otherwise you can click this link http://shorerunners.org/home, go to the left-hand column, and choose the registration for RUNNERS. You will receive email confirmation once registering. Each runner requires separate registration, no two runners can be registered for on one form.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

We ask for a $5 base fee for the summer, to cover administrative costs and equipment. No one in the club receives any sort of monetary gain from this base fee. The base fee does NOT cover the cost of t-shirts, which are OPTIONAL.

WHAT DO I BRING TO PRACTICE?

Water, running sneakers, and a good attitude!

WHO ARE THE COACHES?

All of our coaches are high school or collegiate track and field/cross country athletes who are passionate about the sport of running.
